Montessori Tower

A learning tower is the piece that lets a child stand at the kitchen counter safely, high enough to reach, enclosed enough that they cannot step off the side.

The towers here are made from birch and beech plywood, EN 71 certified, from Luula, Montessori House Bed and leg&go. Several convert: the 2-in-1 folds down into a table and chair set in one movement, which is what makes it worth the space in a small kitchen.

From what age: once a child stands steadily on their own, usually somewhere between 18 months and two years. Most towers have an adjustable platform, so the same tower still works at five.
